What happened to Halloween???? I feel like I missed something. This was the first year in 19 that I didn't get to take someone out trick or treating. I love trick or treaters. We don't get any in Corbett. It would take 3 hours to knock on 10 doors around here. But just in case... Christian and I went to Safeway and filled a bowl full of Snickers, Peanut M&M's and Reeses Peanut Butter cups. I rummaged around in the garage and found my scarecrow on a stick and added some balloons. I took a photo so at least SOMEBODY can see it. So, here World is my pathetic ode to Halloween.
My mom's birthday was yesterday... I hope she got to scare all the kiddies in the heaven. Fee-Fi- Fo Fum!
Hey Kimberley,
ReplyDeleteYour Halloween decoration is great! Sorry to hear that trick or treaters don't make the trek to your door. I guess that's one of the downsides of living so far out in the country but the positives outweigh everything! I guess you and the boys will just have to have the lousy job of eating up all that candy by yourselves. :)
We had a spooky good Halloween here. It was a bizarre 68 degrees and everyone came out. We had about 75 kids show up, enough to put a huge dent in my candy dish. Not to worry, Dave and I got our fair share of chocolate.
Glad to hear that Peter and Adele were able to cook up a storm, clean and raise the spirits (Halloween and otherwise) at your house.
Talk to you soon,
Love,
Ozzie
Kimberley,
ReplyDeleteHalloween was a bit of a bust for us, too, with rainy weather squelching the turnout. And believe it or not, you outdid us in the decorating department (somehow, when the kids aren't at home, it doesn't seem so important/fun!).
You'll be front and center in our thoughts and prayers as you face this week's round of medical appointments. Keep hope, keep faith!
